Donald Silverstein, PE, LEED® AP
As Vice President of CCSI Construction, Don is responsible for all construction operations for the company. Don has 31 years of Construction and Development experience, and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Maryland - License Number 20459. Don is also LEED certified. Don has planned, budgeted and constructed over three million square feet of space to include office, residential, hospital, laboratory, retail, food service, industrial, public use and special purpose buildings. In his roles as general contractor, construction manager/owner's representative, public official and development manager, Don has been responsible for a wide range of projects including interior office construction, historic building renovation, suburban office park development and heavy construction. Don has completed projects in seven states and the District of Columbia. Don is a member of the DCBIA Commercial Construction Committee, past member of the American Society of Civil Engineers; American Concrete Institute; American Arbitration Association Construction Panel; Construction Specifications Institute; Rock Creek Hills Civic Association and a former Faculty Member at the University of Maryland University College. Don graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, with a SB in Civil Engineering, Building Systems and a SM in Civil Engineering, Construction Management and Engineering.
